Currently, for the convenience of faculty and staff, College-related mail is delivered and picked up from each department across campus and at the Bushkill and Downtown campuses at least once each day. Accountable mail (Express, Certified, Insured, and Registered mail) will have a card attached to the package. This card must be signed and returned to the College Post Office as soon as possible.
All personal mail and/or packages will not be delivered to offices and must be picked up at the College Post Office. If mail is properly labeled, the College Post Office will email the recipient or the departmental secretary, if applicable, to let him/her know that personal mail is being held at the College Post Office.
Outgoing College-related mail can be charged to a departmental account if authorized by the appropriate person and the account code is provided to the College Post Office staff. All Departmental Priority and Express Mail will be processed through the College’s account. Although the College Post Office will assist with sending personal mail, any costs should not be charged to the department; it must be paid for in cash by the sender.
If you are sending international mail that has a hand-written customs declarations, it cannot be accepted at the College Post Office; it must mailed from the downtown Easton branch of the Post Office at 201 Ferry Street. If you wish to send your mail from the College Post Office located in the Farinon Center, you must complete your customs form online (USPS.com Customs Form) print it out, and bring it to the College Post Office for postage and mailing.
In addition to the daily pick up at departments, All inter-departmental mail can be dropped off at the campus mail slot at the College Post Office. Please correctly label envelopes with the full name of the recipient and the department name where he/she works. Please do not address inter-departmental mail to buildings or rooms.
Mail for student mailboxes must be properly addressed with the name and box number.
The College Post Office will assist with UPS packages related to college business only with the proper account number supplied. Items to be sent UPS should be properly packed and dropped off at the College Post Office before 3 p.m. on weekdays. UPS will not be picked-up on weekends, pick-ups are Monday-Friday.
